The Chokokuto Gesuke 5-piece tool set is a selection of traditional Japanese wood carving and engraving tools, designed for discerning amateurs and craftsmen.
The blades are forged in Japan from a specialized high carbon steel called Shirogami (white paper steel), a two-layer laminated steel where the extremely carbon-rich cutting edge layer provides easy sharpening and very high cutting capacity, while a second, softer layer forms the body of the tool.

Each tool comes with a pre-sharpened blade and a Hinoki (Japanese cypress) wood handle, offering lightness, comfort, and durability. The set is presented in a practical case, ideal for storage and transport in the workshop.

This set covers a range of highly complementary cutting edge shapes, allowing it to meet a variety of needs: flat surfaces, hollows, oblique shapes, reliefs or fine engravings.
