Straight gouge U-shaped winged series no. 11 Pfeil, Swiss made

A straight, curved gouge with a U-shaped profile. Its high wings allow for deep penetration into the wood without tearing. This gouge, also called a "bretter" gouge because it is used to work the veins of plant motifs in ornamentation, veins described as "brettered." This No. 11 is ideal for chiseling fine details such as hair.
