Additional information

The chisel adapter is an accessory specifically designed for the Veritas MKII sharpening system. It attaches to the already compatible narrow blade holder and expands its clamping capacity to accommodate thicker chisels or tools.

Thanks to this adapter, you can precisely hold the chisels in the clamping head of the MKII guide and sharpen their bevels at typical angles (approximately 30° to 35°) using the system's angle gauge. This ensures repeatable, clean, and reliable sharpening, even on large tools such as mortising chisels.

The adapter is molded from a zinc-aluminum alloy, ensuring good rigidity and durability during repeated sharpening operations. It facilitates extending the sharpening capabilities of the MKII guide without compromising the accuracy or quality of the bevels.
